Academic Integrity
The Journal of Economics Management is firmly committed to upholding academic integrity and the highest standards of ethical publication. The journal strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism and only accepts manuscripts that are original, unpublished, and not under consideration in any other journal or publication outlet.

Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism in the Journal of Economics Management includes, but is not limited to, the following actions:

  • Copying text, figures, tables, or data from another source without proper citation or acknowledgment.

  • Paraphrasing substantial portions of another author’s work without clear attribution.

  • Engaging in self-plagiarism, which involves reusing one’s own previously published material without proper citation, permission, or justification.

Plagiarism Screening
All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous plagiarism check using reliable plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin.

  • The acceptable overall similarity index must be below 20%, excluding references, quotations, and common phrases.

  • Manuscripts that exceed this threshold will be returned to the author for revision or rejected outright depending on the severity of duplication.

  • Any detected attempt to manipulate or conceal plagiarism will result in immediate rejection.

Editorial Actions
The editorial team follows a strict and transparent process in handling plagiarism cases:

  • Minor overlap: Authors will be requested to revise the manuscript and include proper citations.

  • Moderate to major plagiarism: The manuscript will be rejected immediately, and in cases where plagiarism is found post-publication, the article will be retracted.

  • The editor may also notify the author’s affiliated institution regarding confirmed cases of serious academic misconduct.

Author Responsibility
Authors bear full responsibility for ensuring the originality and authenticity of their manuscripts.

  • All sources of data, figures, and ideas must be properly cited.

  • Authors must respect all applicable intellectual property rights and copyright regulations.

  • Submission of a manuscript to the Journal of Economics Management implies full acceptance of this plagiarism policy.
