Peer Review Process

The Journal of Economics Management applies a rigorous and transparent peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality and research integrity. The entire process is conducted systematically as follows:

  1. Manuscript Submission – Authors submit manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system in accordance with the formatting and submission guidelines. Each submission must meet ethical publication standards and originality requirements.

  2. Initial Screening – The editorial team conducts an initial assessment to verify the completeness of the manuscript, adherence to formatting rules, plagiarism compliance, and conformity with editorial and ethical policies. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are returned to the authors for revision before further consideration.

  3. Editorial Evaluation – The editor-in-chief or assigned editor evaluates the manuscript for its relevance to the Journal of Economics Management focus and scope, novelty, methodological soundness, and contribution to the fields of economics and management.

  4. Peer Review – Manuscripts that pass the editorial evaluation are reviewed by at least two independent experts under a double-blind review system, ensuring anonymity between authors and reviewers. Reviewers assess the research methodology, theoretical framework, data validity, analytical rigor, and overall scientific contribution.

  5. Editorial Decision – Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor makes one of the following decisions: acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection. All editorial decisions are made objectively and solely on the basis of academic quality and contribution.

  6. Final Check – After acceptance, the editorial team performs a comprehensive review of the manuscript’s language quality, reference accuracy, formatting consistency, and compliance with ethical and publication standards prior to production.

  7. Publication – Accepted manuscripts are officially published online and/or in print and made accessible to the global academic community, contributing to the dissemination of high-quality research in economics and management.
