Article Retraction & Withdrawal

1. Retraction Policy

  • Conditions for Retraction:

    • Research findings proven unreliable due to honest error, data fabrication, or falsification.

    • Evidence of plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other unethical practices.

    • Legal or ethical violations related to copyright, authorship, confidentiality, or defamation.

  • Procedure:

    • A formal retraction notice is published and permanently linked to the original article.

    • All digital versions are clearly marked as “Retracted” while maintaining the scholarly record.

    • Retractions follow COPE guidelines to ensure transparency and academic integrity.

2. Withdrawal Policy

  • Conditions for Withdrawal:

    • Fundamental errors affecting the validity of results.

    • Written withdrawal request submitted before peer review completion with a clear justification.

  • Procedure:

    • Submit a formal withdrawal request to the editorial office stating the reason.

    • The Editorial Board reviews and issues written approval if justified.

    • Unauthorized withdrawal or non-responsiveness may result in a minimum two-year submission ban.

3. Replacement & Corrections

  • Articles may be replaced with a corrected version if essential changes are required for scholarly accuracy.

  • Minor factual or typographical errors are corrected through:

    • Erratum (publisher)

    • Corrigendum (author)

  • All corrections are permanently linked to the original publication for transparency.

4. Ethical Oversight

  • Journal of Multidisciplinary in Islam strictly adheres to the COPE Code of Conduct.

  • All forms of misconduct undermining scholarly credibility are handled promptly and fairly, in line with international best practices.
