Abstract

Employee work effectiveness is an important factor in supporting hotel service quality, particularly in the Public Area section, which is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of public facilities. This study aims to analyze the effects of supervision and work discipline on the work effectiveness of Public Area Attendants at Novotel Manado Golf Resort and Convention Center. The study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The sample consisted of 20 employees selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The results indicate that supervision and work discipline have significant partial and simultaneous effects on employee work effectiveness. These findings suggest that employee effectiveness can be improved through stronger supervision and the consistent implementation of work discipline. Future studies are recommended to involve larger samples and incorporate additional variables that may influence employee work effectiveness.
