This study examines the contribution of Islamic education to moral and intellectual development. The research is motivated by growing concerns over moral decline and insufficient critical reasoning among learners in the modern era. The aim is to explore how Islamic educational principles foster ethical character and intellectual growth. This study employs a qualitative literature review by analyzing scholarly works published between 2015 and 2025. Data were collected from journals, books, and conference proceedings indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Thematic analysis was applied to identify recurring concepts related to moral values and intellectual capacity. The results show that Islamic education enhances moral responsibility, ethical awareness, and character formation, while also promoting critical thinking, reflective reasoning, and knowledge integration. The study concludes that Islamic education provides a holistic framework for human development. Future research is suggested to apply empirical approaches and cross-cultural comparisons
