AKIDAH ISLAMIYAH DI ERA DIGITAL TANTANGAN DAN PENGUATAN KEPRIBADIAN MUSLIM

Abstract

The digital era presents significant challenges to strengthening Islamic faith (akidah Islamiyah) and shaping Muslim character, particularly due to the rapid flow of information and content that may not align with Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by Muslim generations in maintaining their faith and the strategies for strengthening faith and character to remain adaptive, integrity-driven, and in accordance with Sharia. The study employs a qualitative literature review approach by examining books, journals, scientific articles, and relevant official documents. Data were analyzed thematically and descriptively to identify patterns, themes, and effective strategies for reinforcing Islamic faith and character. The findings indicate that strengthening akidah in the digital era requires Islamic digital literacy, contextual integration of Islamic education, active family involvement, and institutional support. These strategies enable Muslim youth to filter information, reject harmful content, and internalize Islamic values in daily life. The study highlights the importance of collaboration among schools, families, and communities in creating an educational ecosystem conducive to nurturing faith and developing Muslim character in the digital age.
