Optimalisasi Pemberdayaan UMKM Berbasis Masjid melalui Pendampingan dan Evaluasi Program

Abstract

This research is based on the need to improve the community's economy through strengthening zakat-based Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The objective of this study is to assess the implementation and results of the community empowerment program held by the Bintaro Jaya Grand Mosque Zakat Management Organization (LAZ MRBJ). The research approach applied is descriptive qualitative. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and document gathering during Practicum I activities. For data analysis, the process involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that the Gerobak Berkah (Blessed Cart) program, Bank Infaq (Infaq Bank), MSME digitalization, and Tilawati Al-Qur’an certification successfully increased the economic and social capacity of the recipients, as well as the recipients' capacity in the form of interest-free loans and cart assistance to MSMEs. However, challenges still exist in terms of mentoring and business sustainability. Recommendations in this study are to improve continuous mentoring and expand partnerships to magnify the program's impact in the future.
