Abstract

Social change in the modern era has rapidly transformed patterns of interaction, participation, and values within Muslim communities, raising challenges to social cohesion. This study aims to analyze social dynamics through an Islamic perspective, focusing on the role of interaction, participation, and religious values in shaping collective life. A quantitative survey design was employed, involving 250 respondents selected purposively from educational institutions, Islamic organizations, and community groups. Data were collected through structured Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation tests, and multiple regression. The results reveal that social interaction, community participation, and Islamic values significantly influence social dynamics, with Islamic values emerging as the strongest predictor. The study concludes that Islamic principles provide essential guidance for balancing modernization with moral cohesion. Future research is recommended to adopt longitudinal or comparative designs to deepen insights across diverse contexts.
